Cop Spotted a Fugitive While They Were Both at Disney World
A cop from New York spotted a wanted fugitive from New York while they were both at Disney World last month.
The fugitive was wanted for stealing at four people’s identities to acquire $149,800 in funds from COVID relief loans. The federal agent investigating the case was actually on vacation at a Disney park when he spotted the fugitive.
The federal agent and the fugitive both picked the same day to go to the Disney Animal Kingdom. When the federal agent say the wanted man he reported him to Disney security. When the man left the park they confronted him and attempted arrest, but he resisted and gave them a fake name. Deputies were still able to take him into custody.
The guy’s now in jail, awaiting trial.
