A man was just busted trying to compete in a women-only chess tournament.

Reportedly, Stanley Omondi was facing financial hardships, so he thought he’d take a stab at the $3,000 prize by faking his gender wearing a Burka. With the Burka on Omondi only left his eyes and feet visible.

He registered under the fake name ‘Millicent Awour’ and he did not speak during the tournament. Organizers had no idea something was up until he won two matches in a row. One of them was against Kenya's former national champion.

That win started to raise the tournament organizers suspicions.  It would have been unlikely that someone that good would never had played before.

Once the organizers approached Omondi, he confessed and revealed himself.
