The Wiggles Disappointed That Their Song Used To Drive Away Homeless
If you’re a parent with a child of a certain age you are likely familiar with The Wiggles, if you have no clue who or what that is, The Wiggles is a singing group for children. Think of Barney the purple dinosaur, but 5-6 of them and they’re not dinosaurs, instead grown men and women.
According to reports, the children’s singing group The Wiggles aren’t the least bit happy with how one Australian city is using their music. The city of Bunbury has been using the song “Hot Potato” “to drive homeless people away from a regularly used shelter and sleeping spot.”
Here’s a taste of their torture device.
A statement from the band says that this “runs counter to their song’s purpose and message” and they’re disappointed to see their music used in any other way than to bring “happiness to children and families all over the world.”
