Florida Man Tries To Steal Waffle House Tattoo

A Florida Man has been arrested after allegedly trying to steal a Waffle House tattoo. According to The Smoking Gun, the 33-year old allegedly refused to pay for the $250 tattoo he received at Ink Godz in St. Petersburg.

According to The Smoking Gun, the man, Max Alexander Krejckant, was reportedly under the influence when he received the tattoo on his right leg.

This isn't your ordinary Florida Man at a Waffle House story. Krejckant's tattoo is a roughly five inch wide rendition of the Waffle House logo. Only instead of the famous yellow and black color scheme the restaurant chain uses, he opted for gray and black since he didn't want to pay the additional $100 for yellow ink, Ink Godz owner Neil Marcus says per The Smoking Gun.

Seems strange. If you know you're going to steal it, why not go for the extra money? When it came time for him to pay, police officers reported he refused all options to pay off his debt. When police frisked him, they reportedly only found "six dollars and a driver's license in his bag and nothing on his person," according to The Smoking Gun.

After being charged with theft, the Clearwater resident bonded out of jail after paying the $150, according to The Smoking Gun. He has since pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor count, according to The Smoking Gun.

The stolen Waffle House tattoo isn't the only tattoo he has, however. The Smoking Gun points out that he also has a tribute to the Insane Clown Posse on his forearm. He also seems to have opted for black and white on that tattoo, as well.

Unfortunately, Marcus points out to The Smoking Gun that customers trying to leave without paying does happen. However, it typically occurs during Spring Break and not the holiday season.
