People from all over are falling for the latest scam. Here’s what it entails.

Seriously, can you imagine receiving a discount code for a fancy store, ordering an item you like, only to end up receiving a can of Bumble Bee Tuna? Well, that’s what happened to someone, according to Fox Business!
Bailey Cormier took to TikTok to share what happened to her. In the video she’s seen saying, “I am the most perplexed and confused I’ve ever been in my entire life. I got an email from Saks Fifth Avenue, and it was basically like a random 15%, 20%, or 25% off one item. I was like, ‘Okay, well, obviously I’m gonna do that,’ so I chose a Dolce & Gabbana ashtray.”
When she unboxed the package, which contained the Black D&C branding and logo you’d expect to see, inside the box was a can of Bumble Bee Tuna. It wasn’t the fancy ashtray she was expecting. Of all the things to expect inside the box, tuna would probably be one of the most surprising things to find.

According to Fox Business, Saks Fifth Avenue says it’s enforcing more rigorous steps in its return process. In a statement to Fox News Digital, the company said, “We take our customer experience very seriously. Across the retail industry, there has been an increase in online fraud, particularly related to returns. Luxury continues to be a target given its high price points, and as such, we have implemented more rigorous steps in our return process, including additional reviews and stronger authentication. Our highly automated fulfillment centers manage millions of shipments every year, but it is not acceptable for even a small number of our customers to have this experience.”
The company says it appears the ashtray she tried to purchase had been a fraudulent turn and they have apologized for the situation.

While committing crimes may seem black and white (you either broke the law or you didn’t), there are certainly some crimes that are dumber than others. Crimes can happen for a number of reasons. They may happen out of necessity. They could also happen on accident. These crimes, however, do not fall into those categories. These crimes are different. None of these would accidentally happen. They also aren’t a matter of life or death. There’s no ethics quiz here, or any matters of ‘would you steal bread to support your family?’ These crimes, and criminals, aren’t straight up cringeworthy.
While all of these crimes are crazy and certainly cringeworthy, they also make for excellent conversation pieces. That’s why I’ve gone and found five examples of the wildest stories that Dave and Chuck the Freak have talked about and made a list highlighting the best of the best. Personally, I’m going with the funny storytellers.
