Uber Driver Masturbated In Front Of Passenger

A woman was left horrified after her Uber driver masturbated with her in the car. I've had plenty of terrible Uber rides, but none as bad as this one.

According to The New York Post, 26-year-old Tayla Pimlott recounted her awful experience describing her fear and how she was holding back tears during the ride. She never expected this to happen. Who would? You'd feel trapped. What are you supposed to do to get out of there? Jump out of the car? Hit him? It's easy to understand how you'd feel helpless.

It was supposed to be an easy 20 minute ride, but things changed when she noticed what her Uber driver was doing in the front seat of the car. According to The New York Post, Pimlott said, "Usually, when someone takes their pants down, they ruffle down a bit or something. I saw none of that, I just saw this subtle hand gesture. I could see clearly that he [the Uber driver] had his penis out, and he was masturbating."

She started contacting her mom and boyfriend from the car to tell them what was going on. Who know what this guy could do next? According to The New York Post, she texted her mom, "Mum. I'm about 10 minutes away from home I need you to [wait] outside for me. I'm in an Uber and this man has his penis out." Smart plan! Make sure someone is there waiting when he drops you off. That way they can confront him and/or it potentially eliminates the risk of him following you inside!

The New York Post reports that the Uber driver even thanked her as she was exiting the car. That's horrifying! Nobody should be put in that situation! According to The New York Post, the driver was arrested with indecent exposure but had his sentence suspended on a good behavior bond. This is going to be a very traumatic experience for her and it's shocking that justice isn't really being served here.

Sure, companies have started taking measures to prevent stuff like this happening. They'll staple or tape your bag shut. There's no a protective film over beverage cups. However, it doesn't seem to be enough. Drivers are still out there doing stuff--and getting caught doing it.
