Froot Loops Bagels are coming out just in time for the kids going back-to-school. I can’t imagine what they’d taste like. Would they be a breakfast or lunch option you’d send you kid to school with?
Are Froot Loops Bagels The New Breakfast Of Champions?
There are tons of interesting food combinations that have gone viral recently. There have been things like Giant Pop-Tarts the size of a big screen TV and even boozy drinks from Dunkin’. These types of things are nothing new. Strange food collaborations are always coming out and sometimes they can be a hit, but most of the time they end up being famously disgusting–such as the Sour Patch Oreos.
According to People, Thomas’ Froot Loops Mini Bagels are hitting shelves just in time for back-to-school. The unique breakfast food is colorfully speckled and roughly half the size of traditional bagels and they have bits of the popular Kellogg’s cereal inside. I never thought about combining bagels and Froot Loops. It sounds like a pair that just doesn’t belong together. I could understand maybe a Cinnamon Toast Crunch in a bagel to give it a cinnamon flavor. But Froot Loops? I don’t know about that!
People reports that each package will include 10 pre-sliced miniature bagels and will retail for $5.50. If it sounds like something you’d be interested in, then you better act fast! The offering will only be available until October 10th. Does it sound like something you’d be interested in trying? We know the Kelce brothers would be into it. It definitely seems like their type of thing as they’re launching a cereal in September called Kelce Mix Cereal that will be a combination of their three favorite cereals–Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, and Reese’s Puffs. Very interesting combination there, but I’m not going to hate. I think it sounds better than putting Froot Loops in my bagels.
What are your thoughts? Would you be interested in trying Froot Loops Bagels or will you pass and wait for the next interesting combination to come out. Personally, I love bagels. They’re one of the best foods out there. However, they don’t need sugary cereal inside of them. I’ll be passing on this one. What could you even put on top of them? Cream cheese doesn’t sound like the best option. Butter? It’s your call!
