Dave and Chuck Have A New Idea To Raise Money For Charity
Raising money for charity is an amazing thing. The idea we had today though might not go over so well with most charity organizations. There are a few things wrong with our charity idea but that’s besides the point. Just the idea of having ‘Dave and Chuck’s Blow-A-Thon’ was already bringing in donations and they kept getting larger.
The show came back from a commercial break and Dave was obviously frustrated. Months ago, the inventor of the ‘Auto-Blow’ gave the show a bunch of their products. We haven’t figured out a way to give them out to listeners yet so they are taking up space in Dave’s office. He’s had enough.
While sifting through all the devices though, Dave found his old pair of shoes from years ago. You might remember one of the most iconic Dave and Chuck segments ever, when “One Shoe Became New”. Dave had a crazy mystery where one of his shoes was old and the other was brand new. You can refresh or learn about that here if you watch this old ‘Peep Show‘.
So, now with an old pair of mystery shoes and a box full of pleasure devices, we try to figure out what to do with them. Should we give them out at our next event? Or, could we use them to raise money for charity? Jason has a weird thought that some pervy listener probably has a fantasy of wearing Dave’s old mystery shoes and using one of the devices he has store in his office. Let the money start rolling in.
Listeners start sending their bids and donations for the one-of-a-kind experience. Hundreds, thousands and eventually hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of donations flood our text line. Don’t worry, Dave and Chuck the Freak’s ‘Blow-A-Thon’ will not be coming to a city near you, but you can’t deny we’d make more money than any charity ever has!
