Florida Delivery Driver Spit In Customer’s Face
Food delivery is supposed to be a convenient, reliable way to get yourself some grub without any effort. But, for years we have covered a slew of issues with food delivery drivers stealing food, tainting food and more. One Uber Eats driver out of Florida took it to a whole new level after spitting in a customer’s face and trying to steal her fall yard décor.
According to reports from Fox13 Tampa, a woman in Polk County ordered some late night food delivery from Uber Eats. She spotted the delivery driver eating some of her food. Upon noticing this, the customer confronted the the delivery driver, which led to an altercation. Then, the delivery driver tried to steal one of the customer’s fall yard signs. The customer then tried to take the sign back and ended up receiving some spit in her face instead.
Fox13 Tampa reports, the delivery driver also took a decorative urn back to her car. The customer also reported missing four decorative plastic pumpkins totaling $75 in value.
Food Delivery
There are so many issues with food delivery drivers these days. There was a time when we used to order pizza, with no worries, and everyone was happy. Has this been happening longer than we think? Or is it just the slow fall of society.
Chuck says he still orders a lot of delivery and just hopes that no one is eating his food. Everyone else on the show either eats out, cooks at home or goes and picks up their own carry-out. We’ve just heard too many stories of people eating food and keeping their cars in disarray. Andy shared a story once that he had McDonald’s delivered and there was a baby in the driver’s backseat with his food. That might have been the last straw.
