Woman In Thailand Had A Needle Left In Her Vagina For 18 Years

A woman in Thailand had a needle left in her vagina for 18 years! It was left there during childbirth!

She had to have been in an enormous amount of pain for 18 years. You hear horror stories like this all the time (or at least more often than you should) about a doctor or surgeon leaving some tools inside a person after sewing them back up post-surgery. It can lead to some serious complications and it sounds like it was incredibly painful for this woman in Thailand.

Having a foreign object stay inside you for 18 years can't be good! You definitely don't want that happening to you. It can cause some serious damage. Thankfully, it seems like she was able to get out of the situation okay.

According to Independent, the 36-year-old woman from Southern Narathiwat said a nurse accidentally dropped a needle into her vagina 18 years ago while stitching her up after she gave birth. It sounds like a doctor tried using his fingers to retrieve the dropped needle but was unable to get it. So, fearing more blood loss the doctor had to just continue on and went on with the procedure without removing the needle. It didn't take long for her to start feeling pain which ended up becoming severe, per Independent.

She went to get it looked at and an X-Ray confirmed there was still a needle lodged inside her vagina so doctors at the hospital sent her for surgery. However, they ran into some problems when the needle kept moving inside of her causing the surgery to be delayed 2-3 times. Independent reports that she has to visit the hospital at least 4 times a month for follow-ups to monitor her condition--which you can imagine is really adding up. Turns out, going to the hospital isn't cheap. Imagine having to do it 4 times a month! That can end up being a lot of money!

It remains unknown if she will end up having the surgery to remove the needle stuck inside of her vagina or whether or not she will take legal action against the hospital for medical malpractice. Can you imagine having a needle down there for 18 years? That cannot be comfortable! According to Independent, another woman in Thailand nearly lost her life after a medical team left gauze inside of her uterus during a cancer treatment which ended up getting infected.

Not with the internet the way it is.

According to the US Sun, she's admitted to having a boob job, face lift, tummy tuck, neck lift, and more. She's been through a lot and I hope she's able to come out on top!

Chrissy Teigen has not been shy about the work she's had done. In fact, it's more like the opposite. She has been way too outgoing and open with all of it. She's shared it all publicly, which I can appreciate because so many celebs deny ever having it when it's clearly obvious. Her soft features were turned rigid and stiff from the procedures, and she looked very different. You could really see it in her cheeks.
