North Carolina Man Wears Bear Costume To Scare Off Real Black Bear
A North Carolina man found a unique way to scare off a bear. He dressed up as a bear!
That sounds like it could be an incredibly risky move. If you’re going to be attacked by a bear would it be better to be inside a bear costume? Are bears scared of other bears? It’s such a strange decision but it seems like it somehow worked! He was able to scare the bear away and once that bear sees this footage it’s going to feel like a real idiot. What a bold choice to make! Seems like the risk was worth it though because it ended up working. He was successful in his efforts. Would he have scared the bear away without having to dress up in the costume? We may never know.
I just can’t imagine getting the courage to approach the bear. I’d probably try to think of ways to disturb the bear or annoy it from the safety of my home. Maybe play loud music or something. The last thing I would want to do is approach the bear myself. I feel like that would normally not go my way and this guy has to be a case study. Can’t recommend doing this at home.

This species of rattlesnake is endemic to the Southeastern United States. Of course, there are other common rattlesnakes found across the country that are also deadly. They like to live in upland dry pine forests, flatwoods, sandhills, and coastal maritime hammocks. Also, they are excellent swimmers! So, don’t try to get away by swimming. They’ll catch you! It’s said to be the most dangerous venomous snake in all of North America.
Brown Recluse Spider
The Brown Recluse Spider has necrotic venom. Their bites will often require medical attention. It is one of three spiders in North America with dangerous venom along with the Black Widow and Chilean Recluse. They’re mostly found in the Central United States. They are very dangerous and harmful to the older community and younger individuals. They’re typically between 6 and 20 millimeters.
