Mom Breaks Foot Attempting Viral TikTok Challenge
A mom broke her foot attempting a viral TikTok challenge. She says she’s now learned her lesson.
Sometimes, the TikTok trends are best left to the kids. They can often require some athletic moves or flexibility that full-grown adults often lack. Now, this mom is learning her lesson the hard way. 40-year-old Klaire Cave and her 29-year-old cousin Gemma Stephens were on vacation in Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria for Gemma’s birthday when Cave tried to record a video of a TikTok challenge she had seen online. They tried the #DroppingThingsOnMyFoot challenge and it ended as badly as you’re picturing. That tends to happen with a dumb TikTok challenge like that. You’re just asking to get hurt, and that’s what happened.

She first dropped a spoon which obviously did nothing. Then, The New York Post says she dropped a standing fan and a full suitcase, one of which she believes is responsible for breaking her foot. She ended up having to go to the hospital which is not what you want to have happen on vacation, no matter where you are. That’s a great way to spoil a trip. Sounds like she was unable to walk on the foot the following morning. You don’t want that to happen. See pictures shared by The New York Post here.
