Beyoncé Hints At Creating Haircare Line
The Beyhive soon might have hair as gorgeous as Beyoncé’s. The Renaissance creator took to Instagram Tuesday (May 16) to hint at a haircare line. The superstar posted a carousel, with the first photo in her glam room touching her sun-washed locks. The second picture was a throwback photo of the Houston native getting her hair done. The last photo features a handwritten note by the “CUFF IT” singer, where she teases the haircare line.
“How many of y’all knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon? Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done,” Beyoncé wrote.
She continued, “I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon. I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls.”
“I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy,” added the Lemonade creator.
She ended the note with “can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating,” with her first initial and a heart.

This comes after Beyoncé’s longtime colorist Rita Hazan dished on how she switched up the Grammy winner’s signature blonde hair, per PEOPLE. Hazan called Bey’s new look “sunwashed blonde,” since the singer wanted something “dramatic and different” that would “give an extra wow factor.”
The name comes from the last days of summer, “where your hair is just that perfect color and it’s almost bleached by the sun, that’s unwashed.”
Hazan’s approach to Beyoncé’s new brightened look was that she worked the color around the perimeter of her face and added “pops of color” at the end. She also incorporated several tones to add dimension and considered Bey’s signature hair flip.
“I looked at how her hair is going to fall and when she dances, and I pulled the pieces that I thought would work best,” Hazan says. “It’s like all the colors moving together in harmony.”
