There's a golf course in North Carolina that rents out llamas as caddies! They're helpful with your clubs, but don't offer the best advice on shots.

Sherwood Forest Golf Club in Brevard, North Carolina lets you use llamas as caddies! It's hilarious and awesome to see. Unless you're a high school student looking for a summer job. In that case, it's like South Park and "they took our jobs!" See more about the golf course that uses llamas as caddies below!

Sometimes, caddies can be a bit of a nuesance. They always seem to think they know better than the golfer. Well, if you struggle with that and you're tired of your usual caddy not being able to carry their weight, why not use a llama? You do have the option at Sherwood Forest Golf Club, per Golf Digest!

The popularity started at another course in North Carolina, Talamore Golf Resort. Unfortunately, due to slow pace they had to slow down this cool feature. According to TalamoreGolfResort.com, the resort course opened its doors in 1991 and it wasn't the pristine grass or beautiful landscape that stole the show--it was the llamas as caddies. These interesting caddies put the course on the international map. It's been featured in publications like Golf Digest, LIFE, Sports Illustrated, and more!

Even if you're a terrible golfer, having a llama as your caddy can make it a fun and interesting experience! It's so cool how you strap your clubs to the llama and it will follow you along on the course. It might even nod in approval after an impressive shot. Wouldn't it be awesome to see a professional tournament do this? Imagine if golfers trotted around horses, or something, during the Masters with their clubs. It would increase ratings, that's for sure. Although, PETA might have an issue with it at some point. Hopefully the llamas are being paid for their services.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
