Angry Texas Arcade Customer Rants About Alleged Lack of Women’s Bathroom
An angry arcade customer is going viral for ranting about the Cidercade in Austin, Texas not having a women’s bathroom. However, it does. He just wasn’t looking hard enough.
They say, “the customer is always right.” This guy is proving that the saying is in fact just a saying and has no truth behind it. In fact, the customer is probably rarely right, if we’re being honest–it’s just a kind approach to business. This arcade customer left an angry voicemail ranting about how the Cidercade doesn’t have a women’s bathroom–when they actually do.
Angry Texas Arcade Customer Rants About Alleged Lack Of Women’s Bathroom
Before you leave a company a seething voicemail or email, you should double check that what you’re complaining about is true. Otherwise, you could look incredibly bad and be put on blast for your poor decision. Thankfully, that’s what’s happened here and now we can all enjoy his mistake. Cidercade took to Instagram to share an audiogram of the voicemail where the customer goes on for a while talking about what they’re getting at by not having a women’s bathroom and how they must think video games are only for men.
In the voicemail, he blasts the arcade for not having a women’s bathroom and attempts to defend women playing video games, but actually comes off very condescending and patronizing. It didn’t do him any favors. Now, the video is going viral online and it’s hilarious. I feel like no matter where you work, you’ve probably dealt with a customer like this. They go off about something they don’t like or didn’t have happen, and go on for minutes as the victim before you have to point out that they’re wrong. It can be very validating to prove someone like this wrong. The fact that the Cidercade took to Instagram to put them on blast shows that they enjoyed calling them out, too.
Check out the viral video shared on @cidercade_austin on Instagram below. Have you ever dealt with a customer like this? How did you handle it? Did you put them on blast on social media for the rest of the world to see? All the video is missing is the phone number or his name. However, somewhere out there someone recognizes that voice and knows exactly who it is. He knows, too. Hopefully he’s seen this and has learned his lesson. However, I feel like that might be asking for a bit too much.
