Drunk Thief Tries To Hold Up Store With Toy Gun In Russia
A drunk thief in Russia tried to hold up a store with a toy gun. It did not end up going well for him.
You have probably seen stuff like this happen in the movies or on TV, but now it’s actually happened in real life. A lot went wrong for this thief during his attempted robbery. He was clearly wasted, for starters. That’s probably not how you want to execute committing a crime. Then, he was using a toy gun. If he had to try to use it or needed it, it wouldn’t have gone well for him. This whole spree seems to have been a comedy of errors. It happened at a convenience store in Turuntayevo, Russia.
Did A Drunk Thief Try To Hold Up A Store With A Toy Gun?
Video from the scene appears to show the thief slurring his words as he wobbles back and forth trying to hold up the store. However, he can barely hold himself up! He is obviously incredibly intoxicated. At one point during the situation, he even reaches over the counter to grab a bottle of vodka before falling over with his legs stuck comedically in the air. Later on, another customer entered the store and saw the perpetrator stuck in that funny state. That’s when the customer looks around, sees what’s going on, and decides to bail. He might have spotted the fake gun or maybe it was just a fight or flight response that made him clear out and get out of there. Can’t blame him for choosing to leave when you see that happening.
You can see the video shared by The New York Post below.
If I was that other customer who walked in while this was happening I definitely would have bailed too. I don’t think it would have taken my as long as it took this guy, though. He waited a long time before finally exiting the store. If I walked in and saw someone’s legs up in the air like that I would have to just immediately turn around. Nothing good could be happening. It just looks like trouble right away.
Police were eventually able to track the robber down where they found him at his home drinking the bottle of stolen vodka, per The New York Post.
