What Will The ‘Penis Of The Future’ Look Like?
Every wonder, “what will the penis of the future look like?” Well, you aren’t alone. Experts are now weighing in on what it could look like.
Things change and evolve over time. It’s all part of the adaption process. The male anatomy is no different. Some things will change due to a natural process over time and other changes will be a result of technology. Experts are saying the average human penis size is growing and there could be even more benefits and positive changes coming as well. That could be stuff like stronger swimmers in semen, automated implants, built-in contraception, and more to better the male reproductive anatomy. All of these advancements might not be far off. The penis of the future could be here sooner than we previously believed.
Experts Weigh In On What The Penis Of The Future Will Look Like
Simon Underdown, professor of biological anthropology at Oxford Brookes University tells The New York Post, “If there is enough demand, driven by fashion or societal trends, for tweaking bits of the body then we’re probably not that far away from being able to genetically do that. That’s what makes humans really interesting–we’re close to the point at which we can mess about with biological processes because we want to rather than there being a strong biological selective pressure.”
The New York Post reports that the human penis has grown at an alarming rate over the last 30 years with the average erect penis jumping 25% in length from 3.8 to 6 inches from 1992 to 2021. That’s significant! That means by 2100 we could see average sizes of 8.5 inches if it continues at that rate. How crazy would that be? A change like that means there is something powerful happening to our bodies, per Stanford’s Michael Eisenberg. While this might sound like great news with no downsize there actually is. It might be good for men to see a rapidly increasing average penis size, but in order for that to really be a good thing it means the female anatomy has to evolve along with it so they’re ready and able to take the increased size. That doesn’t seem to be the case right now which could end up creating a new hurdle to pregnancy down the line.
So, we could see science start to play a larger role in stuff like this. It can help increase fertility and there are ways to help slow it down and find new ways to create contraceptives and such. We could soon be seeing some major changes in our sexual anatomy!
