Would You Let A DoorDasher Poop In Your House?
‘Trust no one, help no one’. That’s been a tagline of this show for as long as I can remember. We had a scenario today where we had to decide if we’d be willing to help and trust someone. Video surfaced of a DoorDash driver desperately trying to use a customer’s bathroom because he had diarrhea. The homeowner didn’t let him in, would you?
Dave says right at the beginning that he knows where everyone on the show is going to stand on the issue. Imagine you’re at home waiting on your DoorDash delivery and the driver shows up pleading to use your bathroom. Desperately begging, saying that he has diarrhea and is going to poop himself. Are you letting him use your bathroom? Everyone on the show is in agreement that he’s not coming in. We believe you are responsible for your own stuff and no one wants stranger diarrhea bacteria in their toilet.
We do learn about ‘I Can’t Wait’ cards. These are cards that are issued to people who suffer from bowel issues. Essentially, you can show one of these cards to a business and hopefully they will be sympathetic to your needs and allow you to use the bathroom. Some people have actually used them to cut bathroom lines.
Andy wants to know what is the legality of these cards. There is no written law that you must accept an ‘I Can’t Wait’ card if it was displayed at your home. Card or not, we are not letting a doordasher poop in our house.
We find that there are “poop sympathetic” businesses that will allow you to use your poop card. If you suffer from these issues, you might have to plan your day around those places that will accept your card.
We’ve said before that incontinence is coming for all of us. We hope in the distant future. Until then, we are masters of our own bowel domain and hope you are too!
