Wiener Dog Parade Breaks Guinness World Record
A wiener dog parade just broke a Guinness World Record. There were more than 897 participants in the wiener dog parade!
The record breaking wiener dog parade happened in Regensburg, Germany. Clearly, this place has a thing for wiener dogs as it’s also home of the dachshund-themed Dackelmuseum and is known for hosting the largest dachshund dog walk with the Dackelparade, per UPI. The official number of dogs who walked in the wiener dog parade is unknown but it has been confirmed that it was greater than the 897 needed to break the Guinness World Record. It sounds like a ridiculous world record but take a minute and think about how many dogs that is. It’s estimated that there were more than 1,000 there. That would really be a crazy sight to behold! If you’re into Dachshunds then this is certainly the parade for you! Maybe you should attend the next Dackelparade!
Wiener Dog Parade Breaks World Record
If they had something like this for English Bulldogs I would have to attend! That’s my favorite breed and I’m kind of obsessed with them. I imagine some people feel the way I do towards bulldogs for wiener dogs so I can’t judge. One time, I went to a Running Of The Bullies event which was a bunch of bulldogs racing. It was adorable and I would love to go again.
This wiener dog parade had to have been a crazy thing to see. Hopefully it continues and is even bigger next year!
