Comedian Interrupts His Own Show to Check on His Southwest Flight
We’ve all had to check-in for flights. Most of us have probably waited too long and caused ourselves some delay at the airport. Well, this comedian wasn’t going to miss his chance. The comedian named Adam Mamawala interrupted his own show so he could check-in to his upcoming Southwest flight. You’re more likely to get a better seat when you check in exactly 24 hours before your Southwest flight departs. So, he set his alarm as a reminder, and it went off while he was on stage. He wasn’t going to sacrifice getting stuck in “C Group” for his 8 a.m. flight so he took a few moments and checked-in. He even went as far as moving his tickets over to his Apple wallet. The crowd seems familiar with Southwest’s policies and immediately reacts in an understanding laugh. Not all airlines have the same process but if you want a better seat on Southwest, I guess doesn’t mess around when checking in for flight. That is if you care what part of the plane you’re sitting in.
Are you a planner like this? Could definitely be set-up for a bit but that doesn’t change the fact that we all know people in our lives who would be this prepared. Everyone also has different working conditions so something like checking-in for a flight wouldn’t even be noticed. I don’t think any of us would be shocked to find out that Dave has checked-in for a flight during a show! Meanwhile, Chuck would probably forget and get stuck in “C- Group”.
One year ago today at @zaniesrosemont, I revolutionized the comedy industry as we know it when I interrupted my own set to check in for a @SouthwestAir flight. Am I a hero? That’s for the history books to decide, but yes 😂✈️ pic.twitter.com/hU3bv3EKSV
