Florida Man Busted Wearing Sunglasses At Night Holding 2 Beers

A Florida Man was busted at night wearing sunglasses and holding 2 beers. We may have reached peak Florida Man with this one.

If you're going to go down, you might as well do it while doing what you love. He seems like he accomplished that. Here's more on the trending arrest.

It takes major courage, or a severe lack of care, to do what this guy did in front of police officers. According to Daily Mail, Brett McPeek, of Port Orange, was caught on police bodycam enjoying a cold beer while rocking some sunglasses at night during an armed stand-off with police. In the video, he can be heard saying, "I'm going to crack this beer" while an officers approaches him.

Daily Mail reports that police were called to the area by a neighbor who accused McPeek of threatening them with a firearm. When police confronted him, he just wanted to enjoy the beer in his hand while it was cold. It seems like officers weren't sure if he had a gun in his hand at the time, but it was the beer.

Per Daily Mail, the police department said, "Officers arrived on scene and while investigating, the suspect, identified as Brett McPeek, exited his residence and fired a firearm in the area of the officers, victim, and several neighbors who were outside at the time."

Police recovered several guns at his home. He has since been booked into the Volusia County Branch Jail for aggravated assault with a firearm and using a firearm while under the influence of alcohol.
