Ohio Woman Arrested After Calling 911 Hundreds Of Times
Calling anyone roughly 400 times is alarming. Calling 911 nearly 400 times is going to get you in trouble. Well, that’s what ended up happening to this Ohio woman who was arrested after calling 911 hundreds of times.
According to The New York Post, Kesha Kennedy of Zanesville, Ohio has been diverting critical resources from those in need dating back to 2020. That’s the thing with these fake emergency calls, they are going to come out and respond to your alleged emergency and that takes them away from another emergency that could be happening. Unfortunately, that happened at least one times. The New York Post reports that in one case the South Zanesville Fire Department was unable to respond to a call about a person who couldn’t breathe because they were attending to Kennedy’s calls and that person ended up dying!
The New York Post says Kennedy called 911 nearly 400 times often several times a day complaining about various illnesses. Now, prosecutors believe she would make these calls for her personal entertainment for ambulance rides to the hospital, the Post reports. Each time she’d arrive, she’d be given a clean bill of health. Apparently, she was making it up every time and each time was paid for by we the taxpayer.
Kennedy pleaded guilty to several charges including disrupting public services, false alarms, and an additional 25 misdemeanor counts of misuse of 911 systems. The first two charges are felonies, so these prosecutors are not messing around! Clearly, they’re trying to make a statement with these charges that you shouldn’t make fake emergency calls. The fact that someone reportedly died during one of these calls is horrific! That goes to show why it’s dangerous to make fake calls to 911 and you shouldn’t do it. In addition to Muskingum County, Kennedy’s bizarre behavior has reportedly been on display in four other Ohio counties, per The New York Post. Does she have a 911 fetish? If a person called another person 400 times it would be a major concern.
