Did We Kill Gary Coleman?
The Connection Between Us and Gary Coleman’s Death
We have always had a connection with Gary Coleman’s death. And, now Peacock is releasing a documentary covering the controversy surrounding his death back in 2010. Maybe we can close the case on whether or not we killed Gary Coleman.
According to a report from Inside Edition, there is a new Peacock documentary entitled ‘Gary’ that focuses on the controversy surrounding his 2010 death. There have been allegations for years that his wife had some involvement and she speaks on the issues in the new documentary.
Now, if you are newer to the show then you might not be familiar with the Dave and Chuck the Freak curse. The Dave and Chuck the Freak curse exists because sometimes celebrities pass away after we mention them. The most famous of all these cases is the one involving Gary Coleman. And, back in 2010 we didn’t only mention him, but we spoke to him hours before he died.
The show has been accused of murdering Gary Coleman because of what happened. Obviously, there is no way we could have had anything to do with him actually dying. But it’s definitely weird. We had an interview with him in 2010, that we believe upset him, and then later that day he fell down the stairs, was hospitalized, and eventually taken off life support by his wife days later.
We have trouble remembering what we talked about yesterday, so trying to remember what happened 14 years ago on a phone interview is challenging. Thankfully, a listener remembers what happened during that call to upset Gary.
Apparently, he was promoting a movie at the time and allegedly there was a scene that included a glimpse of his private parts. And, Dave being the journalist that he is, was pressing Gary to talk about the nude scene. Gary became upset because Dave was “pushing him”.
Ultimately, we’ll never know if our conversation with him cause him to fall down the stairs. And, maybe this new documentary will put to rest our connection. Or, will it solidify the DCTF curse? Time will tell.
