Congressman’s Kid Hilariously Makes Faces During Dad’s Speech

Kids will be kids. I’ll admit I was this kid. Honestly, I still am this kid. If there’s a camera around at an event, I will find it and I will ham in front of it. This kid is a national hero.

Rep. John Rose’s speech is one of the most memorable to happen on the House floor recently–and for a much different reason than usual. C-SPAN viewers were gifted a treat when they were watching the speech. Instead of listening to whatever this politician was talking about, their eyes were locked on his son behind him making faces throughout most of the speech! He’s like a young Chuck!

At first, it started with a coy look directly into the camera smiling from ear to ear. Basically, you knew right then what was coming. That was soon followed by a tongue, then rolling of the eyes and shaking of the head. He was silently but loudly letting the world know he was incredibly bored back there. You aren’t alone, kid. Welcome to the world of politics.

In addition to the funny faces, he lets some hand gestures fly as well that would surely not be welcomed at his school. The kid has been identified as young Guy Rose, the son of Congressman John Rose. Now, he’s a 6-year-old social media star. Why was he in attendance? Was he kicked out of school for doing something similar? No, turns out he graduated from kindergarten last week and is spending time with his dad while his brother and mom are back in Tennessee. I have a feeling Guy’s brother Sam will probably be with dad on the next trip and Guy’s trips to D.C. might not be as common any more. However, this kid sure does love some trouble. Be on the look out for future Congressman Guy Rose!

Things change as the years go by. At some point, Pound Town has to close down. When it happens? Nobody knows, but we’re all going to get there eventually.

    Dave & Chuck the Freak talk about a video that was posted by Taryn Manning (an actress known for ‘Orange is the New Black’, ‘8 Mile, and ‘Hustle & Flow’) where she discusses performing orally on the backdoor of a married man and buying him a new boat.
