Should G-Strings Be Banned at Waterparks?
No More G-Strings At Waterparks?
Let’s talk about G-Strings. It’s summer. Outdoor activities are in full swing and depending on your current position in life that could be a multitude of things. Splash pads with the kids, boats on the lake with family and friends, hitting the beach, sitting by the pool or spending the day at the water park.
Regardless of where you are enjoying your summer in the water, you’ll have to be in a bathing suit. Unless, like some places, you could be in the buff. But, if you aren’t at one of those special places, then you have to decide what to wear. Board shorts or a speedo for the guys. One-piece, bikini, or even G-strings bikini for the ladies. The G-string is causing some issues in Australia and it’s raised the question of the appropriateness of wearing them in public.
There is a photo circulating online from the Facebook group Meanwhile in Australia, of a woman in a G-string bikini taking a picture of a guy in front of a water slide. It has sparked a debate on whether or not it is appropriate to wear something like that at waterpark, and many people are calling for a ban. These people don’t only want them banned at waterparks but there is even a call for the G-strings to be banned at beaches and public spaces in Australia. You can see the full story at NY POST.
Where Do You Stand?
So, what do you think? Is it inappropriate to wear a thong bikini at a public place? We’d like to hear you thoughts. First make sure to check out the photo and imagine yourself in the same setting. Would that pink thong bikini bother you while at the water park? Or at the beach? We’d love to hear from you.
Personally, I say do whatever makes you happy. There are way more offensive things to see on people’s bodies when out in public places, especially water parks.
