A recent study was conducted to identify the best nude beaches in the world! For most of the beaches on the list, you’re going to have to do some traveling overseas. That was probably expected as nude beaches seem to be more common and accepted in Europe. However, one beach in Miami, Florida ended up making the list!
What Are The Best Nude Beaches In The World?
No shoes, no shirt, no problem? That’s how it goes on these popular beaches where clothing is optional. Emisil.com conducted this new survey to find the best nude beaches in the world. They considered such metrics as safety scores, average sunshine hours, summer water temperatures, and environmental quality standards using data from Numbeo, Weather.com, Blue Flag, and Google. When all was said and done we had our results.
According to Emisil.com, Plakias Beach in Crete was named the top nudist beach in the world. It received a massive 50 million Google searches, more than any other beach on the list. For comparison, Zlatni Raf in Croatia came in 2nd place on the list and only received about 7.5 million Google searches. Plakias Beach must be incredibly popular! Not only is it obviously popular, but it also received the highest score for Safety Index at 83.1.
In third place, we have one of our own! It’s Haulover Beach in Miami, Florida. Haulover Beach received an impressive 23.4 million Google searches. It has the highest water temperature of the beaches on the list. While it’s the highest USA city on the list, it’s not the only domestic city that made Emisil.com’s list. Black’s Beach in San Diego, California came in at 6th on Emisil.com’s list of the best nude beaches of 2024. No surprise as San Diego has some of the best weather in the world. It’s usually sunny and warm but not too hot. Great weather to be outside in your birthday suit at the beach.
Where To Find The Best Nude Beaches In The World
Praia do Meco in Sesimbra, Portugal came in 4th and Es Trenc in Mallorca, Spain came in 5th with nearly 49.7 million Google searches, per Emisil.com. That puts its popularity up there with Plakias Beach which came in at number one! However, it’s Safety Index was ranked much lower than Plakias Beach with a score of 68.2.
