A grown woman just learned she’s been pumping gas the wrong way. This is incredibly disappointing to see.
By the time you’re an adult, there are certain things that you should definitely know how to do. You should know how to pay your bills, take care of your property, clean, and how to pump gas. You’ve been doing it since you were at least 16 years-old, so there’s really no excuse. However, there’s always someone out there who’s a few steps behind. This 34-year-old TikToker seems to be one of them. She finally learned she was pumping gas the wrong way at the age of 34. Better late than never I suppose, but I doubt she’s the only one out there who doesn’t realize they’ve been pumping gas the wrong way.

Look, I’m sure there’s something we’re all doing wrong and don’t know about it. It happens. However, we don’t typically find out or flaunt it in such a public way. Unfortunately, that’s what this TikToker is now going through. She recently learned she’s been pumping gas wrong this whole time and never realized there was a clip that holds the gas pump handle down for you while you pump so you don’t have to hold on that whole time. It’s very functional and incredibly helpful. That is unless you don’t know about it. Check out the viral video shared by @k8steiner below.
On one hand, it’s incredibly embarrassing for her. On the other, she’s getting some clicks for it! That’s what the internet is all about, right? That’s why she has a TikTok account and now it’s all paying off. It would probably be preferred for it not to be embarrassing content, but she’s going viral now regardless. Probably not the way she saw her 15 minutes of fame going, but you don’t always get what you want.

It’s very helpful especially in the cold weather so you can get your hands back in your coat or keep them snug inside your gloves. Some of us find out later than others and I’m just happy she learned about this before the weather starts to get very cold. Everyone has some thing that they do that probably isn’t right, you just hope not to have yours go viral online.
