What Did Police Find In The Backseat Of A Crashed Car?
It would be shocking to find this in the backseat of a crashed car. According to ABC News, a 32-year-old woman has been arrested after police found a dead woman in the backseat of her car that was not a result of the single-vehicle accident she was involved in! That means she was driving with a dead body in the backseat of her car before she crashed! Yikes!
ABC News reports the Olmstead County Sheriff’s Office in Minnesota was alerted to a single-vehicle accident around 7am on Saturday morning on I-90. That’s when they found Margot Lewis being tended to by someone passing by the accident.
Police tell ABC News, “The driver of the vehicle, identified as Margot Lewis, a 32-year-old female of an unknown residence, was out of the vehicle and being tended to by a passerby. In checking to see if anyone else was in the vehicle, a deceased individual, a 35-year-old female, was located in the back seat. The condition of the deceased was suspicious, and it was immediately apparent that the death was not a result of the motor vehicle accident.”
Lewis was arrested for Interference with a dead body. That’s only the tip of the iceberg. During her court appearance, she communicated only via writing or sign language because she took a spiritual vow of silence, per ABC 6 NEWS. The cause of death of the victim has been named a homicide. More details are expected to come to light soon.
