Walmart Selling Pre-Fab Tiny Homes For $16K
You Can Now Get Pre-Fab Tiny Homes from Walmart
Tiny homes are a very popular thing right now. There are many manufacturers, and even rentals that we have talked about on the show before. Now, you can get pre-fab tiny homes for about $16K from a place you might not expect, Walmart. Even one known as the “Apple Cabin”, which is a tiny home modeled after an iPhone.
According to Gizmodo, Walmart is selling a pre-fab tiny home for around $16K that is modeled after an iPhone. Gizmodo reports, “for that money, you get a 20-foot by 7.4-foot by 7.7-foot “Modern Office Apple House Prefab Modular Office Garden Office Pod Small Log Cabin Studio.” If this is your dream, and you have the money to spare, you can make it a reality now through Walmart’s website.
According to Acuity, Prefab is a general term used for a prefabricated building or building component that is manufactured in a factory prior to its final assembly at the construction site, whereas modular refers to something built or organized in self-contained units—like building blocks. So, you’d be able to get this tiny home prefabricated, which makes it ready to live.
Do people really want to live in tiny homes that are modeled after iPhones? Apparently. We are not sure how the sales are doing, but with the phenomenon of the tiny homes, we wouldn’t be shocked to learn they are selling pretty well.
There are some die-hard ‘Apple’ fans. They have the watch, the phone, the tablet, and now they can even live inside the devices they love so much. Another thing we know about ‘Apple’ die-hards, they are not afraid to spend a little bit of money. So, if you encounter someone with the tiny home please send us a picture because we’d love to see what it’s all about.
