Michigan Woman Reunited With Emotional Support Python
If you live in certain parts of the country, you’re going to encounter wintry roads. For one Michigan woman, she was involved in a wintry crash during a snowy night on the highway. She had her emotional support python with her, but it was lost after the wreckage was cleared. She was reunited, however.
According to ClickOnDetroit, ” A Western Michigan University student, Jessica Welch, was driving home to Canton for the holidays when she lost control of I-94 in icy conditions. Once she realized she was okay, her focus quickly shifted to her passenger, Pina. Pina, a 2.5-year-old python, is Welch’s emotional support animal. The search was on and eventually the python was found. Her emotional support python is okay and now recovering at her home.
We’ve heard about all sorts of emotional support animals through the years. Dogs, cats, snakes, horses, and more. There are all sorts of laws about how to get an animal registered as an emotional support animal. If you were to have an emotional support animal, what would it be? I think most people would opt for a dog or a cat. I mean, most of our pets are essentially already emotional support animals as it is. For some people, the thought of snakes is terrifying, so it’s interesting how different everyone is.
