Michigan Man With A Suspended License Videos Into Court While On The Road
It’s never smart to do illegal activities. However, it’s especially not wise to perform illegal activities when you’re on a video conference with a judge over previous illegal activities you performed. For example, if you have a suspended license and aren’t supposed to be on the road, maybe you should be home for your video conference with the judge and not behind the wheel of a car.
Unfortunately, that’s the mistake Corey Harris made, according to Jalopnik. Not only was he driving with a reported suspended license it’s also illegal in the state of Michigan to hold your cell phone while driving. So, here he is committing a bunch of crimes openly in front of a judge! It didn’t take long at all for the judge to catch on.
When asked if he’s driving by the judge, Harris responds, “Actually, I’m pulling into my doctor’s office, so just give me one second,” per Jalopnik. It became very difficult for his defense attorney to help him out as they were left to comment that he was indeed driving. She tried hard! However, in the end there wasn’t a lot she could do to defend his bold actions playing out right in front of their faces.
According to Jalopnik, the judge immediately revoked Harris’ bond meaning he had to report to the county jail later that same day. That was a bold move! Don’t try that at home. Check out a video report on the Michigan man with a suspended license from Click On Detroit below!
