Connecticut Man Busted Speeding Says He Was In A Hurry To See His Cat
A Connecticut man who was busted speeding claims he was only doing so because he was in a hurry to see his cat. We’ve all been there, right?
Personally, as soon as I leave the house I’m already missing my dog. I’m sure there have even been times where I chose not to go out or have plans just so I didn’t have to leave him and could stay at home with him. I know I’m not alone with doing that either. People always feel guilty leaving their pets at home when they go out for plans or leave for work. Then, all day you’re thinking about them and wondering what they’re up to and if they’re doing fine without you. After work, you race home to see their face and how happy they are to see you. Sometimes, you might even end up speeding so you can get to them even sooner. However, this time around it’s a little different. He was reportedly going 130 miles per hour and he was allegedly drunk. He was arrested which meant his cat had to end up waiting a little longer than expected.
Was A Connecticut Man Busted Speeding Just Trying To See His Cat?
There’s always more to the story. Rushing home to see your cat or dog is okay as long as you aren’t breaking laws in the process. Driving drunk and going 130 miles per hour on your way home to see them is dangerous and is only going to get you in trouble and thus will take even longer for your to get home and see your furry friend.
28-year-old Logan Mirmozaffari was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and reckless driving, per Daily Voice. You can see his mugshot provided by the Connecticut State police below.
Just thinking about how wanting to get home to see your pet might work on some officers who could relate to wanting to rush home to see a loved one. However, if they detect that you’ve been drinking then it’s going to be very hard for your to get home to see that pet. They are going to end up waiting a little longer than anticipated and that might have some downfalls as well. An anxious pet might act up. It also might get hungry. If you’re not around to feed it then it might decide to start eating the couch or finding its way into the pantry to help itself to a meal. It happens! Quite regularly! You don’t want to come home from a night in the drunk tank to find your pet who you missed dearly has made a mess of your home. That would not be ideal especially after the awful night you most likely just had. You want to come home and for that pet, whether it’s a dog or a cat, to make your day brighter and turn your bad day around.
