A pro golfer was fearless in front of a baby gator on the golf course. He used his wedge to hurry him away.

Even with a small alligator like this one I don’t know if I would be willing to engage with it. It still has a strong mouth I would imagine and it certainly has teeth. Whether it’s a big or small gator–I’m running. Clearly, this pro golfer felt differently. Billy Horschel was the brave golfer who used his wedge to get a gator to leave the course. Again, I don’t know if I could have done this! It happened at the Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches, per MLive. It’s not rare to see a gator on a golf course in Florida. In fact, it’s pretty common. However, it’s not as common that someone will interact and engage with the gator. In this case, it might have been the right move so it didn’t come at him or mess with his shot. I still don’t think I would be willing to engage, however.
