Little Crossing Guard In Big Trouble In Delaware County
According to 6abc Philadelphia, a crossing guard in Darby, Delaware County is accused of giving e-cigarettes and marijuana to middle school students! Yeah, you can’t do that! It has to be traumatic for parents to hear that the person keeping their children safe was offering them nicotine and marijuana.
The little crossing guard in big trouble has been identified as 26-year-old Kiara Lee. It happened to young students at Penn Wood Middle School, according to 6abc Philadelphia. In addition to what she was offering the kids, it’s been reported that she was also in contact with one of them via text. This situation is very disturbing! The video report below from 6abc Philadelphia claims that she gave a 14-year-old student a marijuana edible.
Incredibly frightening that it seems like she was using this job to get close to children. You’re in a position where people are counting on you and depending on you with their children and they should never be put in that kind of situation! You’d hope the school would do a better job vetting who they’re hiring. It doesn’t matter if they’re a principal, teacher, assistant, or crossing guard. These types of positions working with children clearly need to be vetted better!
